- Location, etc.
We call it "Hirabari Church in Nagoya", but It actually
locates in Nissin City in Aichi-Prefecture, JAPAN. As you can see
it in the picture above, it locates over a narrow river and the
far side of the river is Nissin City. But it was named "Hirabari"
Catholic Church using "Hirabari" which is a name of a part of
Nagoya City side. It is only within five minutes walk from
Hirabari Subway stop of Tsurumai Line.

- Its History, Congregation, etc.
We had twenty-fifth anniversary in 2004!!. Number
of congregations is now around six hundreds and fifty of two
hundred and eighty families. It is still increasing. We have
international people from Phillipins, Korea, Spain, Poland,
Bolivia, China, Ameica, Canada, etc. There are lots of children,
and youth group of the church is very active. Yes, our church is
young and energetic!

We have Special Special Masses of Lent, Easter, and Christmas, etc. Please ask about them. Followings are Regular Masses.

We have events that we enjoy together with non-catholic
community people like Church Festival. You are quite
welcome!
- Wedding at Hirabari Catholic Church
You can have wedding at this church. Non-catholic couple is
quite welcome but it must be the first marriage for two (except
for the one who is bereaved of spouse), and the couple have to
take Marriage Course at the church. For more information, call
052-803-4110. You are very Lucky!! The church has been fully
air-conditioned since Spring of 2000!!
